“Revital-H” is not life-supporting but life-less

Although it is claimed that the capsule “Revital-H” is full of vitamins and life supporting ingredients, it contains several substances which function against the human body system.

The manufacturers claim that “Revital-H” contains a lot of minerals but in fact the capsule does not contain multi vitamins and minerals.

There needs to be awareness about a pharmaceutical product when it comes to the true nature of ingredients being used to manufacture it, be it a vitamin capsule or say even a commonly available pill.

It’s more crucial for this in the Indian context as the vast majority including Jains are pure vegetarians.

The masses should not be fooled into buying a non-vegetarian product that gets passed over the counter as a multivitamin or health supplement.

India’s most saleable multivitamin Revital –H, falls under this category. Its ingredients do include a non-vegetarian product. To make a long story short, Revital – H, has Gelatin which is made from animal bones and hides.

The customer just gets to see the backside of the product, when checking the ingredients that are listed. It innocuously results in their consuming one or two capsules of Revital – H per day.

The listed details mention peanut oil, minerals (the source of these minerals are not mentioned.), Gelatin which contains non-vegetarian material, Ginseng that happens to be a root extract, hydrogenated vegetarian oil and synthetic food colours.

If you check for this vitamin at the amazon web site, you will find it mentioned under the Material Feature category, it is clearly stated as “non-vegetarian”. Also at the bottom of the chart, just above the description, it’s clearly stated that “It’s a non-vegetarian product.”

It has also come to light that there are quite a few supplements including vitamins and other categories that fail to mention the true nature of ingredients in the Indian markets for fear of losing out on volumes. Repeated attempts to contact the company’s PRO department failed.
