Although betting (gambling) is illegal in India, a party was recently organised in Dubai to celebrate the birthday of the owner of an online betting company. Several Bollywood personalities attended this party.

Basically, an offense of rape has been registered against this owner in Mumbai, Yet he is roaming freely. The Special Investigation Team of Sprouts has obtained the video of this birthday party ( September 12, at hotel Fairmont, Dubai ) which was attended by several Bollywood celebrities.

The betting companies like Lion Book, Ambani Book, Mahadev Book, Reddy Anna Book, Mango 777 Book, and SD Online Book are operating in India and running the betting business unhindered.

The betting is being run illegally and 40 percent of people conversing on the Internet participate in betting. These companies earn crores of rupees from betting, which is almost like black marketing.

Hitesh Khushalani, the owner of Lion Book is being accused of committing rape in Mumbai. He is stated to be in Dubai at present.

Khushalani’s recent party in Dubai was attended by prominent stars namely Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Shamita Shetty, Urvashi Rautela, Aftab Shivdasani, Nargis Fakhri, Neeti Mohan, Sukhwinder Singh, Nargis Fakhri, Daisy Shah, Ishita Raj, Giorgia, Sophie Choudry, Elnaaz, Neha Sharma, Shamita Shetty, and Elli AvrRam.

Many Bollywood stars participate in the promotion of Khushalani betting openly. Besides, the promotion of betting is being done on social media openly.

It is ridiculous that Mumbai police are unable to nab Khushlani. It is suspicious and questionable why no inquiry is being held against the artists who participated in Khushlani’s party. Why are the films promoted by Khushalani’s company not being banned?

Saif Ali Khan, Hritik Roshan starrer “Vikram Vedha” was released recently. The film is being promoted by Khushalani’s Lion Book. Since online betting has been banned, the SIT of Sprouts had demanded that the film Vikram Vedha be banned. The complaint was forwarded also to the Union Information and Broadcasting Ministry. However, the issue seems to be neglected by the authorities.
