In the wake of the recent attack on Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan, Mumbai Police have intensified their crackdown on illegal Bangladeshi immigrants. However, despite these efforts, the police administration appears to remain largely indifferent to the underlying issues, as uncovered by the Sprouts News Investigation Team (SIT).
Our investigation reveals that large numbers of illegal Bangladeshi migrant workers are being employed as laborers in civic contract projects across Mumbai. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has awarded significant sewage management contracts to a company named Michigan, which further subcontracts smaller tasks to various labor groups.

Key Findings of the Investigation:
Confidential sources have informed Sprouts SIT that two illegal Bangladeshi nationals are at the center of this labor supply network:
1. Jana Ali – Contact: 7602380529
2. Hazrat Ghazi – Contact: 8779630503
Both individuals are illegal immigrants from Bangladesh, frequently changing their residences to evade law enforcement. Jana Ali is responsible for supplying cheap Bangladeshi laborers to Michigan’s subcontractors, while Hazrat Ghazi specializes in smuggling workers from Bangladesh using forged documents.
Shockingly, these individuals not only facilitate illegal entry but also assist in creating fake Aadhaar cards and forged school-leaving certificates to legitimize these workers’ presence in India. Sprouts SIT has managed to obtain a photograph of Hazrat Ghazi, and with the help of the provided phone numbers, their locations can be tracked for immediate action.
• A Widespread Organized Network:
This illegal operation is not an isolated incident. It appears to be part of a larger, well-organized syndicate that has helped numerous Bangladeshi nationals infiltrate India, providing them with counterfeit identification documents.
Given the seriousness of the matter, Sprouts News urges the Mumbai Police and the Social Service Branch to take swift and strict action to dismantle this network before it poses further security threats.
