Ola Founder Bhavish Aggarwal Faces Abetment to Suicide Case After Employee’s Death
Bengaluru police filed an abetment to suicide case against Ola founder Bhavish Aggarwal. This follows a homologation engineer’s tragic death at his residence. The employee allegedly consumed poison on September 28, 2025.
The Complaint and Allegations
Deceased K Aravind worked with Ola Electric since 2022. His brother Ashwin Kannan filed the formal complaint. It triggered the FIR under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita Section 108. A 28-page handwritten note detailed alleged workplace harassment. It specifically mentioned senior executive Subrath Kumar Das.
Workplace Harassment and Financial Irregularities
The death note revealed serious misconduct allegations within Ola. It highlighted concerns about unexplained financial transactions. Approximately Rs 17.46 lakh was credited to Aravind’s account. Family claims Ola’s HR gave unsatisfactory explanations. Police are investigating these transactions thoroughly.
