He said the country currently has an environment of peace and stability, allowing industry, business, trade and family life to function smoothly, while Maharashtra continues to have substantial employment requirements among unemployed young men and women.
At the same time, Lodha said employment opportunities are available across several sectors, but some young candidates struggle during recruitment interviews because of gaps in required skills or a lack of confidence.

Lodha appealed to participating companies to submit any information, suggestions or objections concerning the employment fair to the concerned authorities at the earliest possible stage.
The Skill Development Department has made an online application facility available for industries and establishments interested in participating in the recruitment initiative.
Companies have been urged to complete the online application process and register themselves as soon as possible so that their vacancies and recruitment requirements can be incorporated into the employment fair.
