According to the complaint, the girl was the daughter of Sunil Kumar Kesarwani. Some local accounts also identified her father as Sushil Kesarwani.
Police have registered a case against school and water park operator Piyush Shukla, based on the written complaint submitted by the child’s father.

The swimming pool was allegedly being operated inside a school premises at Aluwamai village, with children reportedly charged ₹50 for entry.
The complaint alleged that loud music was played while children were allowed to bathe, but adequate safety arrangements were reportedly missing.
According to the family, the child entered the pool around Tuesday evening and allegedly moved towards deeper water while bathing.

Family members rushed her to the Community Health Centre, Kunda, but doctors reportedly declared her dead on arrival.
The child’s body was sent for post-mortem examination. After the procedure, it reached the family home on Wednesday evening.
Her mother, Aradhana Kesarwani, and other relatives were inconsolable as villagers gathered to support the grieving family.

Police Register Case Against Piyush Shukla
Manikpur police have started an investigation after registering a case against Piyush Shukla, who has been named in the complaint.
Manikpur police station Inspector Pankaj Rai said police took custody of the body and initiated further procedure after receiving information.
Police said further action would depend on the family’s complaint, the post-mortem findings, and evidence collected during the investigation.
The family has alleged that the facility lacked trained lifeguards, proper monitoring, and basic safety safeguards required for children.
