Not only this, but also the government released a press release with photos of the event. All media outlets trumpeting the name of credibility covered the news with photos.

Sorbonne University operates in Paris, the capital of France. This university is very old, trustworthy and famous. This university does not award honorary PhDs.

Con Vivek created a school in the name of Robert De Sorbon, a theologian from France and website in the name of www.sorbon.fr so as to create familiarity to the real Sorbonne University.
This website pretends to be created for the school to award degrees based on work experience. The look of this school website is similar to websites in France.
The school was named Ecole Superieure Robert De Sorbon. This school is being displayed only on the website. Actually no government has given any kind of permission for this school, which means this school is also completely bogus.
This website mentions only about degrees by work experience. Vivek is misusing the rights given by the French Government to Universities registered in France.
The theologian name Sorbon is used to make an impression that it is Sorbonne University. The degree given is not from the real and original Sorbonne University but by this school.
Amit has used the address of Paris for the school. But when the Sprouts Investigation Team verified this, it was found that this address is nothing but a local garage in Paris.
Despite all this, the University Grants Commission (UGC) has maintained a ‘financial’ relationship with the bogus honorary PhD holders. Hence, this cladistaine business has borne fruit in India.
