Mumbai: The Bombay High Court has granted bail to six individuals accused in the Comrade Govind Pansare murder case. This decision has been welcomed by Hindutva organizations, who have long maintained that these accused were deliberately implicated as part of a larger conspiracy to establish the narrative of “Hindu terrorism.”

Hindutva leaders argue that Rationalists and so-called Secularists systematically delayed the case, exerting undue influence over the judiciary and police. The Pansare family, they claim, used misleading statements in the media to ensure that the accused Hindutva activists remained behind bars.

In light of these alleged pressures and obstacles, Hindutva organizations have urged the judiciary to transfer the trial to a neutral location outside Kolhapur. Sanatan Sanstha spokesperson Abhay Vartak voiced this demand, stating, “If this trial continues in Kolhapur, Rationalists will continue to create hurdles in the path of justice.”

Vartak also drew a comparison with the 26/11 Mumbai terror case, remarking, “Ajmal Kasab, the Pakistani terrorist, was given full legal aid. Yet, these young Hindutva activists were deprived of the same basic rights. The so-called Rationalists tried everything to keep them in jail. Today, after six long years, they have finally been granted bail, and we thank the Almighty for this justice.”

The Sprouts Investigation Team has been closely following this case from the beginning. Sprouts has consistently exposed the false narratives created to target Hindutva activists. Sprouts’ independent investigation has revealed how Rationalists and so-called Secularists misused legal channels to delay justice.

Sprouts will continue to provide updates and uncover the truth as the case progresses. The focus now shifts to whether the judiciary will act on the demand to shift the Pansare murder trial away from Kolhapur.
