Honda Elevate facelift launched at Rs 11.80 lakh with new features and styling updates

Honda has launched the refreshed Elevate in India with tweaked styling, added features and improved cabin insulation while keeping the same petrol powertrain as before.

Honda has launched the Honda Elevate facelift in India at a starting price of Rs 11.80 lakh (ex-showroom). The SUV is getting its first big update since its launch in 2023.

Pre-bookings opened on October 1, and the facelift brings exterior styling tweaks, updated equipment and extra safety features, while its mechanical package remains the same.

Honda has continued with the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that is offered with six-speed manual and CVT automatic gearbox options across the refreshed Elevate lineup.

Honda Elevate facelift price and variants

The updated Honda Elevate is offered in five core trims: SV, V, VX, ZX and ZX+. The newly introduced ZX+ is also being offered in a Black Edition.

Prices start from Rs 11.80 lakh for the SV manual variant and go up to Rs 18.30 lakh for the ZX+ CVT variant. Prices are ex-showroom.

The V manual costs Rs 12.29 lakh, while its CVT version is priced at Rs 13.79 lakh, providing buyers with both transmission choices from this trim.

The VX manual is priced at Rs 13.93 lakh, and the CVT will cost Rs 15.39 lakh. ZX prices are Rs 15.39 lakh and Rs 16.89 lakh.

ZX+ manual price is Rs 16.80 lakh and CVT price is Rs 18.30 lakh. The Black Edition is priced at Rs 16.90 lakh and Rs 18.40 lakh.

The starting price remains the same, but the maximum price of the facelift has gone up by Rs 1.94 lakh over the outgoing model, thanks to the additional equipment and the new range-topping variants that have been launched.

Honda Elevate facelift gets revised exterior styling

Exterior changes are mainly lighting and detailing. The facelift gets a segmented LED daytime-running-light strip above the grille that visually connects to the existing LED headlights.

The grille has been revised with a fresh new mesh pattern and gloss black finish, whilst the fog lamp housings are now body-colored for a cleaner look.

The Honda logo has also shifted from the grille to the front edge of the bonnet, providing a slightly different front-end look without making any fundamental changes to the design of the Elevate.

At the rear, the tail-lamps are joined by a new LED light bar, but the general styling is familiar, with the existing alloy-wheel design continuing unchanged.

Now available in monotone and dual-tone options, a new exterior colour, called Nordic Forest Pearl, is now available, as the body cladding is given a gloss-black treatment rather than the matte finish.

Interior upgrades add comfort and safety equipment

Inside, the most significant changes concern equipment, including a segment-first rear-seat ventilation function, while both front seats now receive powered adjustment and ventilation.

The facelift also gets a 360-degree camera, capacitive-touch rear LED reading lamps and an electronic parking brake with auto-hold on CVT variants only.

Honda has slightly revised the dashboard with more white leatherette padding and stitching in place of the old faux-wood trim. Factory-fitted ambient lighting is available on higher variants.

Safety upgrades include front parking sensors, rear disc brakes and adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow capability on CVT versions with Honda Sensing ADAS.

The current equipment list includes a 10.25-inch infotainment screen, semi-digital instrument cluster, single-pane sunroof, lane-watch camera, six airbags, wireless charging and wireless phone connectivity.

Honda Elevate facelift retains petrol engine

The facelifted SUV sticks with Honda’s 1.5-litre, four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, good for 121hp and 145Nm. There are no mechanical changes brought about by this facelift.

The engine continues to be offered with either a six-speed manual or a CVT gearbox, with Honda quoting fuel-efficiency numbers of 15.31kpl and 16.61kpl, respectively.

The Elevate doesn’t get the 1.5-litre strong-hybrid powertrain as seen on the Honda City, keeping the powertrain strategy of the midsize SUV all about its established petrol engine.

Honda has also done work on cabin refinement, adding extra sound-deadening material to cut down on noise, vibration and harshness, but it will be up to independent testing to see how much that has improved things in the real world.

The refreshed Honda Elevate still competes in the midsize SUV segment in India, against the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq and Maruti Grand Vitara.

The refresh adds to the equipment package but keeps the engine and transmission choices familiar for shoppers looking at the updated SUV, and market response will likely determine future updates.
